Hi, this is snousey
snousey is a brand founded in Kyiv and created to leave a pleasant mark in the lives of animals and their people.
How it all began
Masha and Katya met in a Kyiv park in 2021. Their daily walks with their dogs turned into a true friendship, and later into a joint venture.
After a forced break due to the war, in the summer of 2022 they met again in Kyiv - and the ritual of walks returned, and with it, conversations about the future. Somewhere between conversations about colors, fabrics, Zhora and Krulya, an idea was born: to create a dog brand that would be Ukrainian, bright, and unlike any other.
Why Snousey?
Because we didn't find on the market what we ourselves would like to see: things that are not just "functional", but also have a mood, form, and meaning.
We wanted to create something that gives warmth even with a look.
And at the same time, it works, serves, and pleases.
Snousey is about love for color, for shape, for animals
and to art.
About handcrafts, illustrations, individuality, and a gentle (but stubborn) belief in the beauty of the everyday.
First attempts, first failures
We're not seamstresses. And sewing something for a dog is another quest.
Finding people who will take on this is even more difficult: because it's a different cut, a different mindset, a different anatomy.
Our first patterns traveled across Ukraine, from one workshop to another. We encountered rejections, delays, errors, and constant attempts to streamline the process.
Then we just said to ourselves, "Enough waiting."
We started with sunbeds and bandanas. The irony is that sunbeds became our bestsellers.
Snousey's official launch date is December 1, 2024.
What we create
Our clothes are a mix of practicality and mood. We use high-quality fabrics, create illustrations by hand, and test everything on our pets — Krula and Zhorika.
We are especially pleased with our clothes - because they are truly unique.
And, of course, our sun loungers. Because when you see a dog falling asleep on it with complete confidence is more than just a product.
